Network automation consulting
Most network automation projects stall because they start with tooling instead of with the network. I start with what you change most often and what breaks most often, and automate those first.
What I help with
Infrastructure as code. Terraform for Juniper Apstra and Infoblox DDI, with state, modules and Git workflows that a network team can live with.
Configuration management. Ansible for multi-vendor configuration and compliance checks, including Junos.
Custom tooling. Python and Go against vendor REST APIs when no off-the-shelf tool fits.
Pipelines. Change review, validation and deployment through CI/CD, so network changes get the same discipline as application code.
Config backup and visibility. Configuration collection and diffing with tools like RANCID and Oxidized, and monitoring with Observium and similar platforms.
Getting started. A short assessment of where your team is today and a realistic first project, rather than a two-year roadmap.
