F5 BIG-IP DNS (GTM) and LTM consulting

At F5 I was the major-accounts systems engineer for Microsoft and F5’s global subject-matter lead for DNS and GTM. Global server load balancing is a narrow specialty, and most teams only touch it when something breaks or when they add a new data center.

What I help with

BIG-IP DNS (GTM) design. Wide IPs, pools, data centers, listeners and sync groups, and load-balancing methods that actually match how your applications fail over.

Troubleshooting GSLB. Monitors that mark healthy pools down, iQuery problems between devices, sync group issues, and resolution that sends users to the wrong site.

DNS architecture. Where BIG-IP DNS fits alongside Infoblox, Microsoft DNS or BIND, and how delegation and caching should be set up between them.

BIG-IP LTM. Virtual servers, pools, monitors and iRules for application delivery.

Upgrades and refreshes. Moving to current BIG-IP versions or platforms without breaking global traffic.
